Application fee is a fee requested from a prospective student during admission application or processing. It is usually non-refundable  and has nothing to do with tuition fees.

It is an exceptional charge a school demands in order to process or review a prospective student’s application. Payment of this fee doesn’t assure  you of acceptance into the school or program. It is mainly paid by international students, native students are mostly exempted.

Boston University Application Fee is $80

Boston University (BU) is a private research university in Boston, Massachusetts. The university is nonsectarian,[9] but has been historically affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

The university has more than 3,900 faculty members and nearly 33,000 students, and is one of Boston’s largest employers. It offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorates, and medical, dental, business, and law degrees through 18 schools and colleges on two urban campuses.

The main campus is situated along the Charles River in Boston’s Fenway-Kenmore and Allston neighborhoods, while the Boston University Medical Campus is located in Boston’s South End neighborhood.

Arizona State University Application Fee

In-state students currently pay a $50 application fee through the traditional application. Both in-state and out-of-state students will have to pay a $70 fee to use the Common App.

Arizona State University (commonly referred to as ASU or Arizona State) is a public metropolitan research university on five campuses across the Phoenix metropolitan area, and four regional learning centers throughout Arizona.

ASU is one of the largest public universities by enrollment in the U.S. As of fall 2019, the university had nearly 90,000 students attending classes across its metro campuses, more than 38,000 students attending online, including 83,000-plus undergraduates and more nearly 20,000 postgraduates.

The university is organized into 17 colleges, featuring more than 170 cross-discipline centers and institutes. ASU offers 350 degree options for undergraduates students, as well as more than 400 graduate degree and certificate programs.
