As the name implies, the university is located in Hungary’s 3rd largest city, Sezged. University of Sezged was first established by Emperor Franz Joseph 1 of Austria in 1872. It was first called University of Kolozsvár.
The school offers a long list of Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs.
3. Corvinus University of Budapest

Established in1920, Corvinus University of Budapest is a research university located in the country’s capital, Budapest. It is seen as one of the top universities in Hungary especially in areas like management, social sciences, and economics. It was once known as Faculty of Economics of the Royal Hungarian University.

4. Budapest Metropolitan University

5. Eötvös Loránd University

This public university in Hungary was established in 1635 by Cardinal Peter Pazmany. It was first locate in Nagyszombat before be in relocated to it present city in 1784.
The University offers several Bachelor programs in Psychology, Finance and Accounting, Sociology, and International Business Economics; while Masters include Cartography, Computer Science, Mathematics, and English Studies.
6. University of Dunaújváros

University of Dunaújváros is located in an industrial city called Dunaújváros. That is the only higher education institute in that city. It was established as a Technical University of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering in 1953. It later got promoted to a university in 2016.
Various English-taught programs in the following fields are available; Business Administration, Technical Management, and Mechanical Engineering. Only Teacher of Engineering Masters program is taught in English, the rest are in other languages.

7. Szent István University

This is a school formed out of a merger between several colleges in year 2000, and the main campus is located in the city of Gódólló. It is a University of Technology with branches in different cities in Hungary which include; Budapest, Békéscsaba, Jászberény, Szarvas, and Gyula.
They have many faculties in the school and offer a lot Bachelors, Masters, PhD and even Post Doctoral programs.
8. University of Nyíregyháza

University of Nyíregyháza is number 8 on the list of universities in Hungary with no application fee for international students; it is a school of higher learning in the city of Nyíregyháza. It offers a lot in the field of Applied Sciences with many ground breaking researches and Innovation. The school utilizes personal approach towards instructing its students.

One of the oldest universities in Hungary is the University of Pécs which was founded in 1367 in Pécs city by Louis the Great of Hungary.
It has about 31 Bachelor’s programs, 29 Master’s programs, and 15 PhD programs in fields like Medical and Health Sciences, Business and Economics, Arts, Engineering, and Natural Sciences. It is one of the research-based institutions in Hungary with high reputation. It offers a lot of foundation and certificate programs as well.
10. University of Debrecen

University of Debrecen is one of the oldest universities in Hungary and also one of their best schools. It has a student population of over 28,000; it was founded in the year 1538.
