You can estimate to pay between 12,000 to 22,000 euros per year depending on the university or program of choice. Professional programs like medicine or law could be higher.

Living cost for foreign nationals studying abroad in Sweden ranges between 870 to 950 euros per month; this covers all expenses like accommodation, feeding, transportation, utility bills etc. This is possible even in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. It is a home to about 17 universities and several colleges.
Some cities like Umea, Karlstad and Uppsala seems to be more affordable compared to the capital of Sweden. The estimated living cost stands at 700 to 880 euros monthly; smaller cities are below this estimate. You can use 600 to 700 euros in a Mont and fend comfortably for yourself.
Just spend wisely, or else you will incure a higher cost of living.

Generally, you should expect to show proof of competency of your language of instruction; this could be English or any other language used in teaching at higher institutions in Sweden. TOEFL or IELTS is accepted for those studying abroad in Sweden in English. Each school have their own cut off mark, just confirm from your chosen school what is required or if you can be exempted.
